To meet objectives of the "Reproductive Health in Ukraine" USAID project, US Agency for International Development / USAID made a decision to extend the implementation period of SPECSI project up to March 31, 2017. It will give an opportunity to finalize the Concept and the draft State Program "Reproductive Health of the Nation" for 2017-2021, and to advocate for its further approval through joint efforts of members of the All-Ukrainian Coalition on Reproductive Health and Family Planning, and other partner organizations.

Traditionally on September 26 Ukraine celebrated the World Contraception Day. On this occasion WHFP initiated thematic public awareness campaign within «Reproductive Health in Ukraine" USAID Project implementation. As a result, 20 NGOs - members of All-Ukrainian Coalition on Reproductive Health & Family Planning and their partners – actively supported and contributed to campaign realization in the format of numerous public events both at the national and local level.
